Puneet Khurana, aged 40, is suspected to have killed himself at his residence in the Kalyan Vihar area of Model Town, New Delhi, precisely on New Year's Eve. • Just days before the suicide, she posted a very cryptic post on her social media site, claiming "Toxicity and Narccissistic abuse" had been a very drastic experience for her, but today she is free. She referred to her abusers as "insecure cowards."   
• But, Mr Khurana's family is claiming that such allegations against him were intentionally manufactured in order to create distractions from her own misdeeds. They further alleged that her public statements were timed to draw attention away from and set up her case as a victim in advance. The family of Mr Khurana has alleged that Ms Pahwa made five demands to settle their divorce, which included Rs 70,000 per month as lawyer's fees.

It was a phone call made around 3 AM when they were expected to have fallen together on the day of his death. Allegedly, the Manika charged Puneet with bringing disgrace to her family and she indicated he threatened to terminate his life.
