During the proceedings in the Supreme Court, concerns were raised related to the alleged leakage of question papers, discrepancies in marking including many  other malpractices related to NEET-UG 2024. These issues resulted in the candidates seeking the Supreme Court to intervene and address the integrity as well as ensure the fairness of the examination process.

Observation of the Supreme Court and Future Hearings

  • Acknowledging the petitions, the Supreme Court scheduled further hearings of the case on July 22nd, 2024, to further look into the allegations of paper leaks as well as malpractices.
  • Critical questions were posed by the Bench to the NTA in regards to the  security measures taken during the examination process as well as the actions which are taken to deal with any reported irregularities.

In conclusion, as the Supreme Court of India continues to monitor the  developments related to the NEET-UG 2024 examination, the focus continues to remain on upholding the integrity of the entire examination process as well as  to ensure that all concerns about the paper leaks and malpractices have been  thoroughly dealt with.
