The Central Government, on 11th March, has finally released notification for implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, commonly referred to as CAA, to grant citizenship for undocumented non-Muslim migrants from the states of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, who came to India before the date of 31st December, 2014.

करीब दो सालों के बाद पंजाब, हरियाणा और पश्चिमी उत्तर भारत के किसान एक बार दोबारा दिल्ली में किसान आंदोलन का प्रदर्शन कर रहे है। पिछली बार यह विरोध प्रदर्शन या आंदोलन मुख्य रूप से उन तीन अधिनियमों को रद्द करने की मांग को लेकर किया गया था जो सरकार द्वारा लागू किये गए थे। हालाँकि, बाद में किसानों की यह मांग सरकार द्वारा पूरी की गयी थी और तीनो नियमों को निष्पादित कर दिया गया था, जिससे विरोध समाप्त हो गया था और शांति लौट आयी थी। इस बार यह विरोध प्रदर्शन केंद्र सरकार से उन उपायों की मांग के लिए किया जा रहा है, जो खेती करने की आर्थिक जरूरतों के लिए आवश्यक हैं।
